For over a decade, four brothers and their two sons have worked in tobacco fields as H-2A workers. Each day, they work together, planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops that support their families from Mexico. While the work is demanding, they have also found a sense of belonging in the United States, a country they now consider a second home. During their breaks, they enjoy simple activities like tending to their own garden, hosting BBQs, sharing stories, and taking time to relax. Their experience highlights not only the challenges of seasonal labor but also the opportunity to build a life in a new country, find community, and embrace the possibilities that America offers.
